As my first time being inside here at this local vegan bread establishment, its from my personal experience, one of the most enjoyed. Service was good and they help you out. Everything is made daily fresh, i had avocado egg scrambled toast, coffee was amazing, and to top it off with a bavarian slice of king cake. Will be coming back to try out more of their menu.

Hi non vegan here but a sweets lover. I don't go to New Orleans often and I'm unfamiliar with the shops. I looked up bakeries in the area, the reviews, glanced at the menu, and decided to go. It wasn't till I got there that I had known it was only vegan menu. I hesitated and went in the pastries looked amazing and we're. I also enjoyed my tea. I will be back for the sweets for sure and possibly something from the kitchen.

Y'all, I was not expecting my vegan egg, cheese, and sausage sandwich to taste soooo good! The way the flavors melted in my mouth...yummy! Parking can be a challenge. Seems to be the spot to be at causing it to be difficult to eat inside as well. Customer service was okay. Next time I'm in New Orleans, definitely stopping here!

Amazing place with all vegans options! They have from pastries, cake, doughnuts, sandwiches and soups! It’s a great place to bring family, a date or come to work a bit. You can sit at the courtyard and they have bread sales! They also had a tasting stand inside to try out the breads only on Sundays! Easy parking.

The experience in this space is phenomenal. The service and the delicacy of each interaction makes you feel right at home! The biscuit tower is delicious as well as the teas and cappuccino. My wife and I came to this location throughout our short stay in New Orleans and it was beyond pleasant. Thank you Javier, his wife and awesome team for bringing in the New Orleans plant based culture.

I've been wanting to come here for a long time and finally did. I loved the food! Very much like when you walk in the kitchen when you're little and your mom is baking something amazing. I got a slice of great strawberry and cream cheese king cake. Not obnoxiously sweet, a good sized slice, and tasted so lovely. I also got the peach and bourbon tea biscuit with a London fog latte. It just hit the spot. This was lovely.

A WONDERFUL restaurant in a beautiful area of N’awlins!! The owners really care about the quality of food they are serving. So well done… all the food & it’s vegan friendly! I cannot say enough about the baked goods AND the meals. Truly amazing!

So glad that I went out of my way during my NOLA trip to get to Breads on Oak! And I hope I can come back again one more time before I leave! The food is very affordable! The fresh bread is so yummy. I came on a sunday and was glad to try the samples with the jam that they had out! I had an egg biscuit and split with my friend who got the mushroom toast. I kinda wish they had an option to add those mushrooms to a biscuit instead of bacon or sausage bc they were so yummy! The bacon was good though. I liked that it wasnt overpowering. Love that their mock meats are homemade and not super processed. I love that the egg replacement is tofu scramble. It could use a bit more black salt for a more eggy flavor. I also tried the Boston cream stuffed brioche donut and wow! Very unique style of donut. The Boston cream flavors were incredible. I wish I could have tried a tea biscuit and the choc walnut cookie which looked magnificent as well. The place is cozy with lots of sitting space. Staff was nice as well! Highly recommend! Also love that they do half loaves of bread and slice for you too! An amazing place to go for sure.
